Our office is up on the third floor, Office No 303 to be exact, in the building on Plot No 40 in Masjid Bunder West. It’s a typical old-school business area, so it’s always loud and crowded downstairs on the street with carts and trucks. We’ve been operating from here for quite some time, dealing with different types of supplies and general enterprise work. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren’t looking for the Ash building specifically, but once you’re inside, it’s a bit quieter than the main road. We have a lot of paperwork piled up on the desks, and the phone rings pretty often with inquiries from other traders in the market. It’s mostly just us handling the orders and making sure things get sent out to the right places. We don’t have any fancy reception area or anything like that. It’s a working office through and through. The lift sometimes takes a while or stops working, so we end up taking the stairs more often than not, which is quite a climb. Being in Masjid Bunder means we are right in the middle of all the commercial action, which is helpful for the kind of work we do. We just focus on getting the job done every day without any fuss. It’s a bit cramped with all the files and samples, but we manage. Most of our visitors are people we’ve known for years in the trading community.
