A.B.Infosys is located at number four in the Hublal Tiwari Chawl. We’re right near Agarwal Nagar here in Mumbai, zip code 400060. Being in a chawl means we are very much a part of the local neighborhood life. You won't find a sleek glass entrance here. Instead, it’s a simple door where people from the area can just walk in. The space is small and we’ve had to get creative with how we store our equipment and tools. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going and stay busy. Most of the people who come to see us are our neighbors or folks living in the nearby blocks. We’ve been here long enough that everyone knows where to find us if their computer starts acting up. It’s a very grounded way to run a business. We hear the sounds of the street and the families living nearby all day long. Sometimes it’s kids playing outside or someone selling vegetables from a cart. It’s not the kind of place you’d expect to find a tech setup, but it works perfectly for us. We focus on getting things fixed without any unnecessary talk. Our workbenches are usually covered with cables and motherboards. It’s a bit messy at times, but we know exactly where everything is. We just take things one day at a time, helping out whoever stops by the chawl with their tech problems.
