88 Pixels The Web Design Studio

Our studio, 88 Pixels The Web Design Studio, is over in Dadar East at 208. Dadar is always a bit of a scramble, especially with the station nearby. We’ve got this office space where we spend most of our daylight hours staring at monitors. The lighting isn't great, but it works for seeing colors on the screen properly. We do web design, which means a lot of clicking and dragging and trying to make things look right. There are four of us usually. We have a lot of sticky notes on the walls because we forget things otherwise. It’s not a high-end corporate office with glass walls. It’s more like a room full of people who like building websites. We get a lot of noise from the street below, cars honking and all that. It becomes background noise after a while. We have a small fridge that mostly has water and some old lunches in it. We don't have a receptionist, so if someone knocks, one of us just gets up. Most of our day is spent debating where a button should go or why a layout looks weird on a phone. It’s practical work. We stay late sometimes when a project is due. Dadar East is a solid location, even if the traffic is a nightmare most afternoons. We just do the work and go home.
