We’re squeezed into a small area in a busy neighborhood. The name 5 Month is a bit unusual, and people often ask us about it, but it’s just what we went with. We don’t have a big corporate office with glass walls or a view of the sea. It’s a ground-level sort of place where you can hear the street noise and the neighbors going about their day. We do a bit of everything here, mostly just small-scale business tasks and helping out local clients. It’s a very hands-on environment. There isn't much room for fancy furniture, so we just have what we need to get the job done. The Mumbai humidity can be tough, and we’ve got a couple of fans that never seem to stop spinning. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just trying to run a steady business in a tough city. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad compared to most Mumbaikars. We know the local tea seller and the guys at the corner shop. It’s a very local way of working. We just show up every day, do the tasks on our list, and go home.
