5 Gems Enterprise

We’re based in Andheri East, specifically at D/1 on the ground floor of the Jafferbhoy Industrial estate. Being in an industrial area means there’s always a lot of activity around us, with trucks loading and unloading and people moving crates. 5 Gems Enterprise is a small operation, and we like being on the ground floor because it makes things so much easier for moving stuff in and out. The space is a bit cramped because we have a lot of inventory and desks squeezed in together. It gets pretty humid here during the monsoon, and we have to keep a close eye on the dampness near the back wall. We don't have a fancy office culture; it's mostly just hard work and getting orders out on time. The noise from the other units in the estate can be quite loud, but you get used to the sound of metal and machinery after a while. We usually grab a quick tea from the canteen inside the estate gates. It’s a busy, gritty kind of place, but it suits the kind of work we do. We’ve been here at Jafferbhoy for a good bit now and know the security guys and the other tenants pretty well. It’s just a practical, no-nonsense workspace where we get things done without making a big deal out of it. It’s not pretty, but it’s home for our business.
