Shri Dhauret Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are over here on M.S Road in Joura. It is a bit of a busy spot because of the traffic coming through the Tahsil area. Shri Dhauret Farmer Producer Company Limited is mostly just a group of us working out of the space at Rishikesh Tyagi’s place. It isn't a fancy office with big signs or anything like that. Most days start pretty early because that is when the farmers are out and about. We spend a lot of time talking to people from the surrounding villages near the post office. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up off the road, but we just keep the doors open. We deal with whatever crops are in season and try to keep the paperwork straight for the collective. It is hard work sometimes, especially when the weather isn't helping, but this is where we belong. People know where to find us if they need to discuss seeds or how the harvest is looking this year. It's just a regular part of life here in Joura. We don't have many employees, just a few local folks who know the land. Often we are just sitting around the table figuring out the next steps for the group. It is a slow process building something like this, but we are just taking it one day at a time in this corner of the district.
