You can find us at number 210 in Jalalpur. This is in the Bagheljyora part of Morena. We call ourselves Kailadevi Krushi Vikas Farmer Producercompany Limited. We are just a bunch of neighbors who farm for a living. We thought it would be better if we joined up to handle our business. It is not always easy to get things organized, but we try our best. The office is just a small space in the village. We don't have any big signs or anything like that. Most people around here already know who we are. We sit around and discuss what seeds to buy or how to deal with the insects this year. Farming in Morena can be a real struggle sometimes, especially when the rain doesn't come when it should. We don't have a lot of money for marketing, so we don't bother with it. We just focus on the work. It’s a lot of physical labor and sometimes the stress gets to us. But we have been doing this for a long time. We handle the sales and the distribution for the group members. It’s a practical way to survive. We don't use any fancy language or try to sound more important than we are. We are just local people who know the soil and want to keep our farms going for another generation.
