Our place, Stonex Exim Pvt. Ltd., is right on the 8-A National Highway in the Lalpar area of Morvi. If you know Morvi, you know this highway is basically the heart of the ceramics and stone world around here. The road is always filled with heavy trucks and a lot of dust from the factories. It’s a loud place to work, but it’s where all the action is for us. We spend our days managing exports from this little office. It’s not a fancy glass building, just a practical space near the road where we can see the trucks go by. We deal with a lot of local manufacturers and shipping agents throughout the week. The heat in Morvi can be something else during the summer months, so we keep the fans going all day just to stay comfortable. We’ve seen the area change over the years, with more buildings popping up along the highway. Our work is mostly about logistics and making sure the containers are loaded right before they leave. It’s physical work sometimes, and paper-heavy at others. We aren't a big city firm with polished floors and expensive art. We're right here in the thick of the industrial zone. Sometimes the traffic on the 8-A makes it hard for people to get to us on time, but we’re used to it. We just keep our heads down and do the work. If you're driving past Lalpar, you'll see our sign among the many other businesses. It’s a straightforward operation.
