You can find us down at 8-A on the National Highway in the Makansar area. Being right on the highway means things are always moving and there is a lot of noise from the heavy trucks going toward Rajkot. Shree Prajapat Ceramic is a busy place, and the dust from the road and the materials is just something we live with every day. The yard is usually filled with stock, and we spend a lot of time outside in the sun moving things around or checking the crates. It is gritty work, and your clothes definitely show it by the end of the shift. We don't have an air-conditioned showroom or anything like that. Our setup is very basic, focusing mostly on the ceramic products and getting them loaded up for transport. People often pull over because they see our sign while they are driving by. We talk to the drivers, check the loading lists, and make sure everything is tied down properly. When the sun is really beating down, we sit on some old chairs in the shade of the office for a quick break. There is always a pot of tea going somewhere. It is not the kind of place where you see people wearing suits. We just wear what is comfortable and durable. When evening comes, we sweep the main area, pull the heavy gates shut, and head home to get some rest before the highway traffic starts up again the next morning.
