ANAND HYDRAULIC CO. is located on Panchasar Road, specifically in the Moon Nagar area. If you’ve ever walked down this road, you know it can get pretty dusty with all the transport and movement going on. Our shop is one of those places where the floor is always a bit stained from hydraulic fluid, no matter how much we try to scrub it. We deal with heavy stuff here, so there’s a lot of lifting and clanking of metal throughout the day. The building isn't brand new, and the paint is peeling a bit in the corners, but it serves its purpose for the hydraulic work we do. We aren't really interested in making the place look like a showroom. It’s a workshop, through and through. In the mornings, we open up the shutters and let the air in, though it usually brings the noise of the traffic with it. We have a small corner for keeping our tools, and half the time we’re looking for a wrench that someone forgot to put back. We don't have fancy titles or uniforms here. We just wear what’s comfortable and gets the job done. Sometimes a customer stops by just to chat for a minute while we look at a cylinder or a pump. It’s a simple life, mostly focused on getting the pressure right and making sure the seals don't leak. We stay busy enough with the local crowd.
