Harsiddhi Engineering Co

If you head down Sanala Road in Morbi, you’ll find us in the G. I. D. C area. We are at plot K1/41. Harsiddhi Engineering Co has been in this spot for a long time. Morbi is known for tiles and ceramics, so there’s always a demand for engineering work and machine parts. Our workshop is full of lathes and tools that have seen better days but still work just fine. There’s a constant smell of oil and cut metal in the air. We mostly help out the local factories when their parts break down or they need something specific made. It’s greasy work. My hands are rarely clean. We start early because the heat in the afternoon makes the shed feel like an oven. We have a small corner for tea and a few benches where we sit for a break. The road outside is always full of tractors and trucks hauling clay to the tile plants. We don’t have a website or a marketing person. Most people just show up with a broken piece of iron and ask if we can fix it. We do our best with what we have. Sometimes we have to wait days for specific steel to arrive from the city. It’s a slow process but we’ve been doing it this way forever. The GIDC is a busy place, but our little corner stays pretty consistent. We just keep the machines running and the parts moving out.
