New Pithwa Engineering

We have been set up at 2, Juna Mahajan Chowk for quite a long time now. It’s a busy little corner, right behind the Chitrakut Cinema. If you know the area, you know how loud it gets when a movie lets out, but we are used to the noise by this point. New Pithwa Engineering isn’t a flashy place with a big lobby. It’s mostly just a workshop where we deal with metal and machines every single day. My father started this whole thing years ago, and now a few of us keep the machines running. We do a lot of repair work for people in the neighborhood. Someone might bring in a broken part from a tractor or a small engine, and we spend the afternoon trying to get it back in working order. The shop is often dusty and the floors are never really clean, no matter how much we sweep. We have a lot of old tools that still work better than the new ones you buy today. Sometimes we sit outside on stools during the lunch break and watch the traffic go by the chowk. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. We don’t have a website or do any big advertising. Most people just see our sign when they are heading to the cinema. It’s a simple life here, just working with our hands and making sure the jobs get finished on time.
