Sagar Engineering Works

Sagar Engineering Works is located out here at Shreeji Industrial Estate. If you are driving on the Morbi - Rajkot Highway, you will see the Tata Show Room, and we are right behind that. The area is pretty much what you would expect from an industrial zone. It gets quite dusty with all the trucks passing by on the highway, and the noise never really stops. We started out in this spot because it was convenient for getting materials in and out. The workshop itself is a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. There is usually a layer of grease on the benches and some scraps of metal in the corner. We don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders. Most of our day is spent handling the heavy stuff and dealing with the heat. In the afternoons, the sun hits the front of the estate pretty hard, so we usually have the big fans running. It is a straightforward way to earn a living. Being near the Tata showroom makes it easier to tell people where to go when they are coming to visit us for the first time. The highway connection is the main thing for us. We just get on with the jobs as they come in. It is a bit of a rough and ready place, but it serves us well enough for the kind of engineering work we do every day.
