Avani Electronics

Avani Electronics is out at 27- Shreeji Industrial Estate, right on the Rajkot Highway. Being on the highway means there is always a lot of dust from the trucks passing by, and it gets quite warm in the afternoons. Our unit is just a plain space where we handle all the electronic parts. We’ve got benches lined up with magnifying glasses and soldering irons. It’s the kind of work that requires a lot of patience and steady hands. Most of us have been doing this for a long time, so we don't really think about it much anymore. The industrial estate is a busy place with lots of different businesses, but we mostly keep to ourselves. We aren't into big marketing campaigns or trying to sound like some high-tech giant. We are just a local shop that knows how to put circuits together. Sometimes we have trouble getting parts on time, or the heat makes it hard to focus, but we manage to get things done. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we do. We don't have a big sign out front, just the number on the door. If you’re driving down the highway, you might miss us if you aren't looking closely. We just like to get the work finished and head home to our families at the end of the shift.
