ACTIVE MACHINE TOOLS

ACTIVE MACHINE TOOLS is located at No.5-Lati Plot. It is a busy little corner of the neighborhood, and the Micro Station is just a short walk away from us. One of the best things about being here is that we are right opposite the Vadvala Tea Stall. We spend a good amount of time there, usually twice a day when we need a break from the noise of the workshop. Our place is full of machine tools and metal scraps. It is not exactly the tidiest shop in the area, but we know exactly where every wrench and drill bit is kept. Mostly we spend our hours working on lathes or sharpening up tools for other local businesses. The concrete floor stays quite cold in the winter months, which is a bit of a pain, but you get used to it. We have a small crew of local guys who have been with us for a while. We do not do any real advertising because everyone around Lati Plot already knows we are here. If a machine breaks down in one of the other units, they usually send a runner over to see if we can help them out with a part or a quick fix. It is a community of small workshops, and we all try to help each other when things get busy. We usually close up the shop when the tea stall shuts down for the night.
