Zainco Traders

Zainco Traders is our little operation over in Faiz Gunj. We’re tucked inside Diwan Khana, which is an old building that has seen better days. Our mailing address is Post Box No 413. It’s a lot of trading back and forth, mostly just moving goods and checking invoices. The stairs here are steep and a bit creaky. You can hear the neighbors talking through the walls. Faiz Gunj is a busy neighborhood with a lot of history, but we don’t pay much attention to that. We’re just here to work. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit there in the dark waiting for it to come back on. We don't have a big team or a fancy lobby. It's just a few desks and a lot of ledgers. Most of our day is spent on the phone or writing things down by hand. It’s a bit old-fashioned, I suppose. The street outside is always full of people selling snacks and tea. We get our lunch from the local stalls mostly. It’s not the quietest place to work but you get used to the shouting and the horns. We just keep track of the stock and make sure things get to where they're going. It's a simple way to make a living and we've been doing it like this for a while now. We don't need much else besides a working phone and some decent pens.
