Tata Iron Store

Tata Iron Store is out in Village Hallu Sarai. We are in Tehsil Panwasa, right on the Sambhal - Bahjoi Roar. It’s a bit of a drive, but being near National Highway 93 helps. The road is always busy with long-haul trucks and tractors. We get a lot of dust from the passing traffic because we are right there on the edge of the village. The store itself is pretty simple. We keep iron stock inside and some larger pieces out back. In the mornings, you can see the mist over the fields nearby before the sun gets high. It’s a different pace than the big cities. Most people who come in are local farmers or builders from the surrounding villages. They usually know exactly what they need for a fence or a shed. We spend time talking to them, maybe have some water while we figure out the weight of the iron. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a practical place to keep the inventory dry. We’ve been here for a while and the location on the Sambhal-Bahjoi stretch makes sense for us. It’s a lot of manual labor, loading the carts and trucks by hand most of the time. You get used to the weight of it. It’s quiet in the evenings once the highway traffic dies down a little bit.
