P & G Public School

P & G Public School is located out on Nainital Road in Naya Gaon village. It’s a bit of a drive from the main parts of Rampur, but we like being out here in the Bilaspur area. The school sits in a spot where there’s still a bit of greenery around, which is nice when it isn’t too hot. We have a simple building that houses all our classes. Most of our students come from the villages nearby, so we see a lot of the same families year after year. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows each other’s business. We don’t have all those high-tech gadgets you see in city schools. We just use the blackboards and the books we have. The floors are concrete and get a bit cold in the winter months, so the kids wear their sweaters to stay warm. We have a small yard where they play during the break, and sometimes we have to tell them to stay away from the main road. The staff here are mostly local people who understand how life is in the village. We just focus on the daily lessons and making sure the kids show up on time. It’s a lot of work keeping a school going in a place like this, with the dust and the weather, but we’ve been doing it for a while now. It’s just a steady way to spend the day in Bilaspur.
