Boon Dale School

Boon Dale School is located out on Sh 51 Bahjoi Road in Bavaina. Sambhal is a busy place, and the road can get quite crowded with trucks and tractors passing by at all hours. Our spot is at 244302, and it’s a bit of a trek for some of the students who live further out. The building stands there along the road, and you can’t really miss it if you’re driving through the area. It’s a simple school without many frills. We have the basic classrooms and a bit of a yard where the children play. The dust from the road sometimes comes inside when the wind is high, so we are always cleaning the benches and the floors. Teachers here live nearby mostly, or they take the bus in from the town. It’s not a fancy private school with air conditioning in every room. We just have fans that creak a little when they’re on high speed during the hot months. The students are mostly from the surrounding villages and farms. They bring their lunch boxes and sit together during the break under the porch. There’s a lot of noise when the school lets out because everyone is trying to get onto the road safely. We just focus on the textbooks and making sure the kids show up on time for their exams. It’s a practical place for education in this part of Sambhal. Nothing more, nothing less. We just keep the doors open every day.
