Rgs Public Junior High School

Our school is located on Kitply Road in the Jwala Nagar part of Rampur. It’s an area that has a lot of small shops and houses all mixed together. The road can be quite dusty depending on the time of year, and you often see trucks passing by because of the nearby businesses. We are a junior high school, so we deal with kids who are just starting to grow up and get a bit more serious about their studies. The building itself is quite plain. We have the usual rows of classrooms and a small area where the students can stand during the morning assembly. We don’t have a massive sports field or anything like that, so the kids just make do with the space we have. The teachers here are mostly from Rampur and they’ve been teaching these same subjects for a long time. Everything is pretty much done by the book. We use chalk and talk, and the students spend their time writing in their notebooks. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just open the windows wider to let the air in. It’s a very local kind of school where everyone knows everyone else’s family. We aren't doing anything flashy here. We just show up every morning, ring the bell, and start the lessons. It’s a straightforward way to run a school in this part of town. Most of the desks have been around for quite a few years.
