Majidson Exports

You can find our office right across from the Makkah Masjid at Chock Bhoorah on Prince Road. It is a very easy spot to find because everyone knows the mosque. Majidson Exports has been operating from here for a long time. The street is always full of people, especially during the prayer times when everything gets very busy. We do a lot of exporting, mostly things that are made by people in this area. Our office is quite small and it usually smells like the tea we keep on the stove for anyone who stops by. We have a couple of rooms that are completely packed with samples and boxes that are ready to be shipped out. It is a bit of a maze inside if you don't know your way around. We work with a lot of local craftsmen. Sometimes they are a bit late with their deliveries, so we have to go out and check on them. It involves a lot of running around the city. Prince Road is very narrow and usually has too many cars, so moving big crates is always a difficult task for us. We usually try to do the heavy loading very early in the morning before the crowds get too thick. We are not a big company. It is just us, the family, and a few people who help with the packing. We've been here for years.
