We are tucked away in Lal Bagh Lane No. 7. It’s a bit of a narrow street, so it’s better if you don't bring a big car right to the door. Anwar Brass India has been here for years. My grandfather started working with brass, and we’ve stayed in the same spot ever since. The workshop is right behind the small office area. You can usually hear the sound of metal being worked if you come by in the afternoon. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s where we do our best work. We export brass items to different places, mostly people who have known us for a long time. We don't have a glossy catalog. We just show people what we have on the shelves. The walls are covered in old tools and sketches. It feels like a real workshop, not some sterile factory. We don't have a fancy title for anyone here; we all just pitch in. Sometimes the dust from the polishing gets everywhere, so we keep the windows open when the weather is nice. It’s a traditional way of doing things, and we don't see any reason to change it. We’re just local craftsmen who know how to handle exports. If you want something made of brass, this is where we do it. It might be a bit loud and messy, but it’s how we’ve always operated.
