Select Exports

Select Exports is located at No. 10 in Lajpat Nagar, right across from the park. It’s actually quite nice having the park there because it gives us something green to look at when we step outside for a quick breath of air during the day. The office itself is usually piled high with product samples and shipping containers waiting to be sent out. We try to keep it neat, but when things get busy, the stacks just seem to grow on their own and take over the floor space. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or checking through piles of documents to make sure the export codes and addresses are all correct. It’s a lot of detail work that can be a bit tiring for the eyes, but we’ve been doing it for years now and we're used to it. The morning usually starts with us sorting through the overnight messages and figuring out the priorities for the day. There’s a small kitchen area in the back where we make tea and sometimes eat our lunch if it’s too hot or raining outside. Otherwise, we might sit on the bench in the park for twenty minutes just to clear our heads. We’re a small team, so we all know what’s going on with each other’s projects. It’s not a flashy place with glass walls or modern art. It’s just an old-fashioned office where we focus on getting the exports handled properly and efficiently. It's a steady rhythm for us.
