Horizon Enterprises

We set up Horizon Enterprises on Qazi Shaukat Road quite some time ago. The road itself is always busy, so there is constant noise from the traffic outside. Our place is basically a big room that we use for everything—storage, packing, and whatever paperwork needs to be finished. It’s not the cleanest place in the world because we are always moving boxes around. You’ll usually find a layer of dust on the higher shelves that we can’t reach easily. We don’t have a big team, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. One day I might be answering the phone and the next I’m out back helping load a delivery. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or things like that. We just want to get through the day's work and make sure our customers get what they asked for without too much trouble. The building is old and the stairs creak a lot when you walk up to the second floor. We’ve thought about moving to a newer place, but the rent here is fair and we know the area well. Most of our regulars just drop by when they are in the neighborhood. We keep a pot of coffee going and just keep things moving. It’s not a glamorous job, but it pays the bills and keeps us out of trouble. We just do the work and go home to our families.
