Blue Bell Convent

We are tucked away at House No 44 in Line Par, Moradabad. It is a very residential area, so the school is right in the middle of where people live. Our school is basically a large house that we have adapted for teaching children. It has a very homely feel because it actually is a home. We don't have a big sign or a grand entrance, just a door that stays open during school hours. The rooms are small, and we have to be careful with how we arrange the desks so everyone fits. It’s a very local operation, and we know all the neighbors by name. Sometimes the neighbor’s dog barks during a lesson, or you can hear someone cooking next door. We focus on teaching the children their basics in a way that feels comfortable. The teachers are mostly people from the same street or the next one over. We don't have a playground, so the kids mostly stay indoors or in the small courtyard we have. It’s a bit cramped, but it works for us and the families who send their children here. We don't use any high-tech tools, just books and chalk. It’s a very straightforward, no-nonsense kind of place. We just try to provide a decent education for the local kids without any fuss. It’s been our way of life for a long time now in Line Par.
