Balwant Singh Smarak Inter College

Balwant Singh Smarak Inter College is located out in Adalpur, which is a bit of a distance from the main hub of Moradabad. Life here is much quieter than what you find in the bigger towns. I spend a lot of my time just looking after the grounds and making sure the rooms are swept out before the morning bell rings. The 244401 area is mostly farmland and small houses, so we have a lot of space around us, even if the roads are not in the best shape. During the rainy season, the path to the college gets quite muddy, and we all end up with dirty shoes by the time we get inside. We have a modest setup here with basic classrooms and a small area where the kids play during their lunch break. It is not a polished or fancy institution, and we like it that way. Most of the teachers live nearby in Moradabad and commute in every day. We know the parents and the grandparents of these kids because this school has been a fixture in Adalpur for years. Sometimes we run short on chalk or need to fix a broken desk, but we manage with what we have. It’s just a honest place where we try to keep things running smoothly for the local families. We don’t have a website or big posters. We just show up and do the work.
