We are located in Pakka Bagh, right over in Asalatpura. If you know where the Shiv Mandir is, we’re just a short walk from there. It’s a family thing, just like the name says on the board. My sons are learning the ropes now and they help with the heavy lifting. We’ve spent many years in this workshop. There is always a lot of noise from the tools hitting the metal. Sometimes the floor is covered in shavings or dust, depending on what we are fixing or making that day. We don't have a big office or a place for people to sit. People just drop by the shop when they need something done or want to check an order. It’s been this way since I can remember. The neighborhood has changed some over time, but the temple stays the same and so do we. We mostly do work for people nearby or those who have heard about us from their friends. We don't spend money on flyers or ads. If you do a decent job, people come back eventually. That's how we've stayed open all this time. The hours are long, but it’s okay because we live nearby. Lunch is usually brought from home in a tiffin and eaten right here at the work bench. It’s not a fancy life, but it keeps us busy. We just try to get the orders finished on time so nobody is waiting.
