Artesign Impex

You can find us on Lane-1 of Deputy Ganj Road. It’s a narrow street and things can get pretty chaotic when the delivery trucks try to pass each other. Artesign Impex has been operating out of this location for a good while now. The building is older and has character, which is a nice way of saying the stairs are steep and the windows rattle when it’s windy. We deal with a lot of imports and exports, so there is always a mountain of paperwork on the main table. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing emails to people in different time zones. Sometimes the internet is slow and we just have to wait it out. It’s not a high-tech office by any means. We have old filing cabinets that have been here since we opened. The staff is small, just a few of us who know the routine inside and out. We don't really bother with fancy titles or big meetings. We just look at what needs to be shipped and we get to it. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that’s usually when we take a break. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. The neighborhood is noisy and full of life, which makes the days go by faster. We like it here despite the occasional plumbing issues in the back.
