Abidsons

We are tucked away at 112, Lajpat Nagar, which is a pretty crowded area if you’ve ever been there. Most mornings start with the sound of shutters opening up all along the street and the smell of tea from the corner stall. Abidsons isn't a huge operation, just a handful of us working in a space that feels a bit too small when we have a lot of stock coming in. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to get it done. There’s always a pile of paperwork on the main desk and the phone rings more than I’d like. We don’t really have a big corporate philosophy or anything like that. We just show up, handle the daily tasks, and try to keep things organized. It’s a lot of manual work and back-and-forth stuff. Sometimes the electricity acts up and we just sit there talking until it comes back on. Dealing with the traffic around here is the hardest part of the day, especially when we are trying to get things moved out. We’ve been in this spot for a long time now so the neighbors all know us. It’s just a practical place for a business like ours. We don’t spend money on fancy signs or advertising because word of mouth usually does the trick for us anyway. It’s just how we operate. Nothing fancy, just us at the shop every day.
