Shivalik Foods (India)

You can find Shivalik Foods over at B-31 in the Focal Point area of Chanallon. It’s an industrial zone, so there are a lot of factories and warehouses around us. The air usually smells like whatever the neighbor is cooking or processing. We have been in this spot for a good while. Our building is a standard industrial block, nothing special to look at from the outside. Inside, it is all about the food production lines. We have a few different sections where we process everything. It’s not a quiet place; there is always a hum from the machines or the sound of the loading dock. We have a small office tucked in the corner where the paperwork gets done. It’s usually covered in stacks of invoices and empty tea cups. We don’t spend money on fancy rugs or bright lights. We just keep the lights on and the machines running. The crew here is mostly local folks from around Chanallon. We know each other's names and we work together to get the daily quotas finished. Sometimes things break down and we have to fix them ourselves on the fly. It’s just how it goes in a place like this. We don’t make a big deal out of it. We just make sure the food gets out the door in the trucks every evening. It is a simple, busy life at B-31.
