Shemrock Foundation School

Shemrock Foundation School is right on the VIP Road interlink that heads toward Lohgarh Road here in Zirakpur. If you know the Chandigarh outskirts, you know this road can get quite packed. We've been operating out of this spot for a while now. The school isn't hard to find if you're driving through Zirakpur Ho. We spend a lot of our time looking after the younger kids who come here. The building is set up to be safe and manageable. We don’t have a massive marketing team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us making sure the classrooms are ready every morning. We do the cleaning, the teaching, and the admin work ourselves. The weather in Chandigarh can get really hot or quite cold, so we’re always fiddling with the fans or making sure the kids are comfortable. It’s a local place. Most of the parents are people we see at the market or around the neighborhood. We try to keep the atmosphere calm, though with kids around, it’s rarely quiet. We focus on the basics of early learning without making it too complicated. The gate stays shut during school hours for safety, and we usually have someone sitting there to let people in. It’s just a regular school day, every day, right here on VIP Road. It’s a busy life but it is what we know. We just take it one day at a time. This is where we work and where we stay busy.
