Pratibha Upper Primary School

Pratibha Upper Primary School is situated over in Shivalik City, right along the Landra Road in Kharar. It’s a part of the Chandigarh area that has seen a lot of change lately with all the new buildings going up. We are tucked away in a spot that feels like its own little world once you get past the main road traffic. The building itself is pretty simple, with enough rooms for the different levels of kids we have coming through. It’s usually loudest in the morning when the buses pull up and everyone is trying to get inside at the same time. We have those typical school hallways where you can hear footsteps echoing all day. The classrooms have the usual desks and boards, nothing too modern, just what’s needed for lessons. Since it's an upper primary school, the kids are a bit older, so things are a little more orderly than a preschool, but there’s still plenty of energy. We’ve got a small area where they can run around during the breaks, though it gets dusty if it hasn't rained in a while. Most of the staff has been here for a good bit, so we all know the routine by heart now. It’s just a regular school where we show up, do the teaching, and try to keep things organized. Living and working out here in Sector 127 means dealing with the commute, but we make it work every day.
