Precious Gems Preschool

You can find us at Plot Number 32 A in the Punjab Modern Complex over in the Baltana area. It is a residential sort of neighborhood, which is actually quite nice for a preschool. We have kids running around most of the morning, so it is never really quiet until well after the lunch break. The rooms are filled with the usual stuff like colorful blocks, crayons, and those tiny plastic chairs. We aren't part of some big chain school with a fancy corporate office somewhere else. It is just us here in Zirakpur taking care of the neighborhood kids while their parents are away at work. Sometimes the kids cry a bit when they are first dropped off, but they usually settle down quickly once they start playing with the toys. We try our best to keep everything clean, but with toddlers, there is always a bit of a mess by the end of the afternoon. The building is part of the residential complex, so it feels more like a home than an office. We spend a lot of time just making sure everyone is safe and having a little bit of fun. We do teach some basic letters and numbers, but it is mostly just a place for them to grow up a bit before they head off to a bigger school. The 140603 area is growing fast, and we see new families moving in all the time. We aren't trying to be the most expensive place around. It’s loud, busy, and normal.
