Punjab Roads Bridges Development Board

Our office for the Punjab Roads Bridges Development Board is located on the second floor at number 293 in Sector 40A. We’ve been here in Chandigarh for a good while. The space is filled with maps and plans spread out over desks. It’s a government-related setup, so there are always lots of folders and documents related to the local infrastructure. Working from the second floor means we get a decent view of the street below, which is usually quite busy. We spend our days looking at drawings and talking about the different bridge projects and road repairs needed around the state. It’s a lot of technical stuff, mostly numbers and measurements. The office itself is pretty functional. We have the usual desks, some old filing cabinets, and a kettle that gets used a lot for tea breaks. People come in to drop off reports or check on project timelines. Sector 40A is a nice part of Chandigarh, and being here makes it easy to coordinate with other offices. We don’t have any fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a place where the staff shows up, does the planning work, and handles the logistics for the roads. It gets a bit hectic when a big project is starting, but we manage to keep things moving. We’ve been at this address for years, so most people in the industry know exactly where we are without needing a map. It is just a standard working environment.
