Krishna Engineering Works

We’ve been here at Krishna Engineering Works for quite a while now. You can find us down on Habitpur Road, which is right near the Focal Point in Derabassi. It’s a busy area with a lot of noise and people moving around all day. Sometimes the dust from the road gets into the workshop, but that’s just how things are in this part of town. We spend most of our mornings getting the machines warmed up and checking on what needs to be fixed. There isn’t much fancy stuff going on here. It’s just a regular shop where we do our engineering work and try to keep things running. The guys in the back have been with us for years, and we all know each other's habits by now. Usually, by mid-afternoon, the sun hits the front of the building pretty hard, so we move some of the work inside. We don't really have a big office or anything. Most of the time, if someone wants to talk to us, they just walk in off Habitpur Road and find us near the lathes or the welding area. Derabassi has changed a lot since we first set up near the Focal Point, but we’re still here doing the same things we’ve always done. It’s hard work, and your hands stay dirty most of the day, but it’s a living. We just focus on the jobs that come in and try to get them finished without too much fuss.
