Helical Engineers

Plot No. 549 in Industrial Area Phase-IX is where we do our work. Helical Engineers has been sitting here for some years now. It’s a big space filled with different machines and parts scattered around. We spend most of our time looking at blueprints or fixing bits of machinery that need attention. The floor is usually covered in some kind of grease or metal shavings. It’s not the cleanest place, but it’s where things get built. Phase IX is a bit out of the way for some, but it’s a good spot for an engineering shop like ours. The neighbors are all doing similar stuff, so it’s a lot of welding sounds and truck engines through the day. We don’t really do much in the way of advertising. Mostly, people find us because they need something specific made or repaired. The office is just a corner with a desk and some old chairs where we sit to have lunch. It’s a bit cold in the winter and hot in the summer, but you get used to it. Every day brings a different set of parts to deal with. Some jobs take forever while others are done in twenty minutes. We just take it as it comes and try to keep the machines running. We have some old filing cabinets that are overflowing, and the phone rings more than we’d like, but that's how it goes when you're busy. There isn't much more to say about it.
