Ids Infotech Ltd.

Ids Infotech Ltd. is located at C-138 in Phase Viii of the Industrial Area. This part of the industrial area is quite big, and it takes a while to drive from one end to the other. Our building, C-138, is a large block where we do a lot of data and information technology work. It’s a busy environment with a lot of people coming in for different shifts. We have a pretty big canteen because there aren't many places to eat nearby without driving for ten minutes. The food is okay, mostly dal and rotis. Inside the office, it’s row after row of computers. It can feel a bit repetitive, but we try to keep things interesting. We have a few boards where people pin up jokes or photos from office parties. The air conditioning is always freezing, so most of us keep a sweater at our desks even in the middle of summer. We deal with a lot of technical documents and digital filing. It requires a lot of concentration. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generators to kick in, which gives us a five-minute break to chat. It’s a solid place to work, and we’ve got a good routine going. Most of us have been here for years, so we’ve seen the company change quite a bit. It’s just our daily life here in Phase Viii. It can be a long day, but we make the best of it together.
