We are Kant Carpet Co., and you’ll find us on Police Line Road. We are pretty easy to spot because we’re right near the B.P.L. showroom. The road out front can get a bit dusty with all the traffic, but we try to keep the shop tidy. It’s a straightforward setup. We have carpets lined up against the walls and more stacked in the back. There isn't a team of marketing people here. It’s just us. We spend the morning checking what came in and what’s going out. Sometimes the neighbors from the showroom pop in for a chat. It’s that kind of neighborhood. We’ve been here a while, and we know how the local area works. The carpets we have are for everyday use. We don't use fancy words to describe them. They are just good, solid pieces. If you come in, you might see us eating lunch in the back or moving some of the heavier rugs. It’s physical work, and it can be tiring. But we prefer it this way. No one is wearing a suit and tie here. We wear clothes we can get dirty in. Police Line Road is a good place for a business like ours. It’s busy but not too crazy. We just focus on the carpets and the people who walk through the door. It’s a living, and we enjoy the hands-on nature of the work. Nothing more to it.
