Kalathil Export

Our office is located on Thor Road, which is a place most people around here know well. It isn't a huge building with glass walls, just a functional space where we handle all our export work. Every day starts with checking the lists and seeing what needs to go out. The road outside can get a bit muddy when it rains, and sometimes the trucks have a hard time backing in, but we manage. We deal with a lot of paperwork and phone calls throughout the afternoon. It can get pretty quiet inside when everyone is focused on their desks, but then the phone rings and things pick up again. We have been doing this for a while now, so we have a rhythm. There are stacks of files and some old wooden chairs for when visitors stop by. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor or making things look perfect. As long as the goods are moving and the records are kept straight, we are happy. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, and we just sit and wait it out, maybe have some tea. It is a straightforward way of working. We know our neighbors and they know us. Thor Road has its own pace, and we just fit into it. There is nothing too complicated about how we run things here. We just stay busy. It is just how we do things.
