M. M. Industry

Our location is No. 809- Id Gah Chowk, right on Civil Hospital Road. It’s a very loud part of town because of all the sirens and the traffic heading toward the hospital. M. M. Industry has been at this spot for years, and we’ve seen the road change quite a bit. There used to be more trees, but now it’s mostly concrete and new shops. The building itself is older, with high windows that let in a lot of light in the morning. We don’t have a big sign out front, just the number and the name. Sometimes people stop in by mistake, thinking we’re part of the hospital, and we have to point them in the right direction. The workshop floor is always busy. There’s a specific smell of oil and hard work that never really leaves the place. We keep a small radio playing in the background, but you can barely hear it over the sound of the machines. The staff here are mostly regulars who live nearby. We eat lunch together in the small back room, usually sharing whatever people brought from home. It’s a practical environment. We don’t worry about having the latest furniture or fancy carpets. Everything here is meant to be used. The stairs are a bit narrow and the paint is peeling near the ceiling, but it works for what we do. It’s just a regular local industry making its way.
