K L Kapoor is located in the middle of Sarafa Bazar, specifically in Neel Ki Gali. If you know the bazar, you know how tight the lanes can be. It is a very old part of town and there is history in every brick here. We have been in Neel Ki Gali for a long time. The space is small and we have stuff tucked into every corner. It’s not a modern office by any means. It’s more of a traditional setup where things have been in the same place for years. The smell of the bazar is always there—spices, old stone, and whatever the street vendors are selling that day. It can be quite noisy with people shouting and carts moving past the door. We don't mind the chaos. It’s part of being here. We don't use any slick advertising. Most people who come to K L Kapoor have been coming here for a generation or heard about us from a neighbor. That’s how things work in Sarafa Bazar. We open up early and close when the light starts to fade. There is a certain rhythm to the day in Neel Ki Gali that you don't find in the newer parts of the city. We just stay part of that rhythm and do what we have always done. It’s a simple life and we are happy with it. It feels right to be here.
