Jyot Chemical Industries

You can find us over at Number 98 in Govind Puri, which is part of Kanker Khera. It’s a bit of a residential feel around here, but there are plenty of small industries tucked away. Jyot Chemical Industries has been at this address for quite some time now. The street can be narrow, especially when the delivery vans are trying to turn around. We deal with various chemical supplies, so the warehouse part of the building is always the most crowded. It’s just a few of us running the show. We usually start the day early before the traffic gets too bad. The office is just a small room with a couple of chairs and a lot of ledgers. We don't really do the whole modern office thing. Most of our day is spent checking inventory or talking to the suppliers on the phone. Sometimes the neighbor’s kids are playing cricket right outside the gate. It’s a decent place to work, even if it gets a bit messy with all the paperwork and sample bottles. We know the local chai wallah by name because we order from him every couple of hours. It’s a straightforward business. We don't have any flashy stuff here, just the equipment we need and the products we sell. It stays pretty busy from Monday to Saturday, and we usually close up around seven in the evening.
