Jain Chemicals is located at 194, Delhi Road in the Sadar area of Meerut Cantt. Being in the cantonment area means things are a bit more orderly on the streets, but Delhi Road itself is always moving. We have been here for a good while, and the building shows its age a bit, but it’s sturdy. We handle different chemical supplies and it’s a lot of paperwork and making sure the storage is right. The office smells a bit like old paper and maybe a hint of the supplies we keep. It’s not a place for fancy suits. Most of us just wear what’s comfortable for a long day. We have a lot of regular people who stop by, and we usually know them by name. There’s no big marketing team here; we just answer the phones and help whoever walks through the door. Sometimes the traffic on Delhi Road makes it hard for deliveries to get in on time, so we spend some time standing out front waiting for trucks. It’s a routine we’ve perfected over the years. We don't have a lot of modern gadgets, just what we need to get the billing and inventory done. It’s an honest way to make a living in Meerut. We take our tea black mostly, and there’s always a newspaper lying around the front desk for when things get quiet. It is just the way things are done in our little corner of the city.
