Jmd Engineering Works

Jmd Engineering Works is based out in Transport Nagar. If you have ever been down this way, you know it is mostly trucks and big warehouses everywhere. Our workshop is right in the middle of it all. It is dusty and can get pretty hot in the afternoons, but that is just part of the job in engineering. We have a few heavy machines running most of the time, so you have to talk a bit louder to be heard over the noise. We have been here for a good amount of time and the guys working the floor know exactly what they are doing. We don't really bother with fancy uniforms or anything like that. Most of us just wear old clothes that we don't mind getting grease on. There is always some scrap metal sitting in the corner waiting to be moved. We do a lot of repairs and custom work for the local transport businesses around here. Sometimes the neighbors come by to borrow a tool or just to chat for a minute. It is a busy place but we try to keep things moving in an orderly way. The office is just a small partitioned area with a desk and a few chairs for visitors. It isn't the kind of place you come to for a polished sales pitch. We just show you what we are working on and tell it like it is. No fancy brochures here, just real work.
