Our office for Hpl India Ltd is located right on Suraj Kund Road in Meerut. Specifically, we’re at number 97, which is part of the Narendra Kumar Surendra Kumar premises. Suraj Kund Road is always full of activity, with people moving back and forth all day long. It’s an old part of Meerut, and the building reflects that—it’s solid and has been around for quite a while. Inside, it’s a bit of a mix of old storage and desk space. We handle a lot of different things here, and it can get quite hectic when the shipments arrive or when customers drop by. There’s always dust in the air from the road outside, and the noise of horns honking is basically our background music. It’s a very practical, hands-on environment. We don't have fancy furniture or any of that corporate stuff; we have metal desks and stacks of ledgers. The people working here have been around for years, so we all know how the system works. Sometimes the heat in Meerut is just unbearable, and the old fans don’t do much except move the hot air around, but we keep at it. It’s a simple operation, run by local people who understand how things work in this city. We just focus on the daily tasks and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s not glamorous but it’s real work. We take our tea breaks together and then get back to it.
