Our place, Essar, is located at J 98 Pandav Nagar near Jail Chungi in Meerut. It’s a typical Uttar Pradesh neighborhood with plenty of life on every corner. The building is just a regular spot on the street. We’ve been here for quite some time, and the address is well-known to the locals. It’s not a big corporate headquarters. It’s just a few rooms where we handle our business. We have a small desk for paperwork and some space for the things we deal with daily. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We don’t wear suits or anything like that. Most of us just wear what’s comfortable for a long day. Outside, you can hear the sounds of Meerut—scooters, vendors, and people talking. It’s part of the background of our workday. We have a small area in the back where we can sit for a few minutes when we need a break. The pin code is 250001, right in the heart of things. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just come in and do what needs to be done. Sometimes the electricity goes off, and we just wait it out or find something else to do. It’s a very human way to work. We know our neighbors and we know the local area like the back of our hand. It’s just home to us.
