Azad Bharat Primary School

You can find the school building at 112, Quidwai Nagar, along the 40 Feet Road in Muzaffarnagar. It is an old part of Prempuri and the street is always moving with people and cycles. We have been here for quite some time, and most of the neighbors know the sound of our morning bell. The classrooms are basic, with desks that have seen a lot of students over the years. We have some charts on the walls about history and science, though a few are starting to curl at the corners. The teachers use a lot of chalk, so there is usually a bit of white dust on the floors by the end of the afternoon. We don’t have a massive campus with grass fields, just a small courtyard where the kids gather for assembly and play during their lunch break. It gets pretty loud when they are all out there at once. The office is a small room packed with registers and old files that we keep for the records. During the summer, the ceiling fans hum all day long to keep the heat away. We don't do anything flashy here. It is just a place where children come to learn their lessons and teachers do their work. Sometimes the gate needs a bit of oil because it squeaks, and the paint on the front wall is getting a bit thin. It’s a real, working school for the local families around here.
