Megandranath Poultry Private Limited is located in a village called Bansdiha. Our address is care of Sanatan Nandi, and the post office is Nalbona in the Paschim Medinipur district. This is a real rural setting, which makes sense because we are a poultry company. We are right where the action is, surrounded by the actual work of raising birds. It isn't like a city office at all. There are no paved sidewalks or tall buildings here. Instead, we have the sounds of the countryside and the smell of the outdoors. We work out of a simple structure that serves as our main base. Sanatan Nandi is a well-known name around these parts, so finding us isn't too hard if you ask the locals. Most of our day is spent checking on things and making sure the poultry operations are running smoothly. We don't use fancy computers for everything; a lot of our notes are still kept in physical ledgers. It’s a different pace of life here in Paschim Medinipur. We have to deal with the weather and the seasonal changes much more directly than people in Kolkata do. It’s hard work, and your boots usually get a bit muddy by the end of the day. We aren't interested in being a polished corporate entity. We just want to run a decent poultry business and look after the community here in Bansdiha.
