Al Qamar Poultry Private Limited is run right out of the House of Sk. Farid Ali in Keshpur. We’re located in GP 10, a village area in Paschim Medinpur. It’s a very local operation, rooted in the village life of West Bengal. Poultry work is a seven-day-a-week kind of job. The birds don't take holidays, so neither do we. We spend our time in the sheds, checking on the health of the flock and managing the feed stocks. Being in Midnapore, the weather can get quite hot, so we have to watch the temperature closely. It’s not a fancy setup with air conditioning or corporate offices. It’s just a practical farm business where we do the work ourselves. People in the village of Keshpur know where we are if they need to talk. We don't spend money on big advertisements or any of that. Our focus is just on getting the poultry ready and keeping the business ticking along from the 721150 area. There’s always a fence to fix or a delivery truck to wait for. Sometimes things go wrong, a batch gets sick or the prices drop, but we just keep going. It’s the only way to do it. We’re just a local business trying to make a living in the poultry trade. No big promises or fancy words, just daily work in the village from morning until night.
