You can find us at House Number 16-91/2 in Reddy Colony, Ramayampet. Ramayampet Farmers Producer Company is basically a group of local farmers who live and work right around here. We aren't a big business with a bunch of fancy offices and secretaries. Our main concern is always the crops in our fields and making sure we can actually make a living from them at the end of the day. The colony is a good place to be, and our little office serves as the main hub for all our activities. We spend a lot of time discussing things like water levels and which fertilizers are actually worth the money this year. It’s not always easy, and there are plenty of arguments about the best way to do things, but we usually figure it out over some tea. We aren't experts in business, but we know the land in Ramayampet better than anyone else does. We started this because we realized that being alone made us weak when it came to the market. Now, we have a bit more say in what happens to our produce. We don't use fancy talk or have big slogans. We just tell it like it is. Some years are good, some are lean, but we keep showing up every single morning. It’s a lifestyle as much as a job, and we wouldn't know what else to do with ourselves anyway if we weren't farming. It is hard work but it's ours.
